Google, which has been encouraging developers to add Tiles to their smartwatch apps, has updated one of its own apps with the feature. The Google Keep app is getting its Tile on smartwatches running Wear OS 3 (and newer).

The Google Keep app's Tile feature is now available on the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, Galaxy Watch 5, and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The new Tile is simple and has just three buttons: New Note, New List, and Browse. Users can click the New Note button to add a new note, the New List button to add a new checklist/to-do list, and the Browse button to browse through their Google Keep notes.

The new version of the Google Keep app is 5.22.322.03.97, and it is available through the Google Play Store on Galaxy smartwatches running Wear OS 3. Google is expected to revamp the UI design of the app in the coming months to keep up with the Material You design language.

Since Samsung Notes is not available on Wear OS 3 Galaxy watches yet, the Google Keep app is a great way to add new notes, to-do lists, and browse through existing notes. The South Korean firm should work on bringing Samsung Notes to its smartwatches for those who already use Samsung Notes as their main notetaking app.
