Samsung's latest mobile products, including the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Watch 5, and Buds 2 Pro, have employed some of the highest quality building materials available, which makes them surprisingly resilient. But they've also adopted several components built out of recycled materials, and the company recently launched a handful of videos to share more details on the matter.

The videos are purely informative and don't have fancy special effects or a killer soundtrack. Instead, they show the many components built from recycled materials that Samsung has used inside its latest mobile devices. It details which components were manufactured using post-consumer materials and which contain upcycled plastics from discarded fishing nets.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series was the first to use components manufactured using upscaled materials recycled from discarded fishing nets, and many non-critical components inside the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 use similar upcycled materials.

The usual components made of repurposed materials include connector brackets, speaker assemblies, the backside of the side and power buttons, display connectors, brackets around the hinges, and more.

The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro might be one of the more extreme cases where almost the entire Cradle Case and earbud cases are manufactured from post-consumer materials. The earbuds also adopt repurposed finishing net materials for minor internal components like brackets for PCBs and battery holders. Check out the videos below for more details.
