Samsung collaborated with popular K-pop music band BTS for a few years to promote its high-end phones. However, the boy band went on a hiatus in 2023, so it looks like Samsung is collaborating with another K-pop band. The company mentioned a collaboration with TXT before its next Galaxy Unpacked event.
Samsung to collab with TXT, a popular K-pop boy band, for Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6
Earlier today, Samsung posted via its X account that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will feature a “surprise film” from TXT (Tomorrow X Together), a popular K-pop music band. However, the company tagged a TXT fan account (@TXT_Book) instead of the original X account of TXT (@TXT_bighit). This is most likely a mistake.
It is possible that TXT members will be a part of the event on July 10, where Samsung is expected to unveil multiple Galaxy products, including the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra.
You can watch the teaser video for the Samsung TXT collaboration below.
TXT is a K-pop band consisting of five members: Beomgyu, HueningKai, Soobin, Taehyun, and Yeonjun. The band debuted in early 2019 and has released several hit songs. Since its inception, it has received several awards. TXT was also the first K-pop band to perform at Lollapalooza, one of the biggest music festivals in the US.
It is also possible that this year's Over The Horizon ringtone from Samsung will be tuned by TXT rather than BTS. However, not much information is available about it right now.
What to expect from Galaxy Unpacked 2024 on July 10?
Watch our video below to learn what to expect from the next Galaxy Unpacked event, which will take place in Paris, France.
The detailed specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 leaked earlier today. Both phones use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor and have thinner bodies. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is lighter than its predecessor, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a bigger battery in the same size as its predecessor. Both phones could have a less visible crease on their foldable screens and an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are expected to bring a massive design change and improved audio quality. The Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra use the brand-new 3nm Exynos W1000 chip with a five-core CPU, improved health and workout tracking, and longer battery life.
