Yesterday's Unpacked event was as much a celebration of Galaxy AI as it was the unveiling of two new foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Samsung proudly revealed that Galaxy AI will be available on 200 million devices by the end of this year.

That's a monumental achievement, considering the fact that Apple's yet to bring any of its recently unveiled AI features to phones. Samsung is already pushing ahead with new features, including one that helps your kids with their homework.

Galaxy AI will help your kids with their homework

Circle to Search is one of the integral components of Galaxy AI. Powered by Google, this feature lets you search for anything on the display by simply drawing a circle around it after long-pressing the virtual home button.

The capabilities of this feature have now been improved, and it can now provide translations of what's on the screen as well. The most interesting addition is that of a homework helper, a new Galaxy AI feature that helps your kids learn, something that Apple Intelligence is unable to do at this point in time.

This feature helps your kids solve complex problems, including symbolic math problems, by simply circling on the problem using their device. What's great is that it just doesn't give out the answer. It walks them through the entire process of solving that problem so that they can actually learn how it's done, thereby making an actual contribution in their learning process.

Samsung says that this feature has been development to enable kids to become independent problem solvers. It also pointed out that the homework helper feature will be available on devices that support Circle to Search. The ability to solve symbolic match problems comes July 24, the day the new foldables are released.

Homework helper is only starting with math problems currently, but the potential here is endless. It can be useful in any number of scenarios when assisting with homework and it's likely that we'll see these capabilities being further expanded in the coming years.

You can pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 now for $1,899 and $1,099 respectively right away. The release is due July 24.
