Google’s Pixel smartphones and tablets offer a Quick Setting toggle for Google Wallet if the app for the digital wallet service is installed on those devices, allowing users to quickly open it and access ID cards or make payments. However, Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones and tablets don’t offer that nifty feature even with its app installed.Summarize in one-click with Galaxy AI
That’s because Pixel devices offer the Quick Setting toggle for Google Wallet from their end, as a system-level feature, which is something that Samsung’s devices don’t offer. It’s not a feature that the Google Wallet app offers. Well, if a new report is to be believed, Galaxy devices could also soon offer a Quick Setting toggle for Google Wallet.
Google Wallet to get its own Quick Setting toggle
According to Mishaal Rahman on Android Authority, the latest version of the Google Wallet app for Android (version 24.26.650309275) contains strings of code suggesting that the company is working on giving the digital wallet service its own Quick Setting toggle.

Once the Google Wallet app has its own Quick Setting toggle, Samsung’s phones and tablets will give you an option to enable that toggle in the notification panel. According to Mishaal, tapping once on it opens the digital wallet service, and long-pressing it shows app info.
At the moment, there’s no information about when Google will enable this feature. Once it does, using Google Wallet on Samsung’s smartphones and tablets will become more convenient.
