Samsung will end its pre-order program for the Galaxy Buds 3 series in under 24 hours. The new earbuds have been available for pre-order for the past two weeks, but July 24 is just around the corner, and the pre-order window won't stay open after that.
If you plan on buying new earbuds, you might want to do it today rather than waiting until a later date. The reason is that Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro pre-order customers can benefit from enhanced trade-in values of up to $100, but the trade-in situation after the pre-order period ends is unclear.
We're sure Samsung will keep the trade-in program open for prospective Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro buyers after tomorrow, but we're not as sure the company will keep offering $100 trade-in deals post-pre-orders.
More details after the video
Usually, the earbuds recycling or trade-in program for wireless earbuds gets you discounts of up to $50. For example, right now, you can save up to $50 if you recycle or trade-in a pair of headphones or earbuds when you buy the older Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
With that in mind, although Samsung hasn't outright said anything about the way the trade-in program might change once the Galaxy Buds 3 pre-order window closes, there is a possibility that discounts could drop from $100 to $50.
One thing to keep in mind, regardless of whether you pre-order today or buy the Buds 3 after tomorrow, is that shipments in the USA and other markets may have been delayed by around a couple of weeks due to Samsung wanting to ensure there are no quality control issues.
