Samsung is expected to release the first Android 15-based One UI 7.0 beta update next week. However, ahead of the official release, several design aspects of the company's next major One UI version have been leaking. Now, a massive One UI 7.0 leak showcases several design aspects of the upcoming software.

One UI 7.0 design leak showcases new Quick Panel, notifications area, and iconography

After the redesigned icons of some of Samsung's stock apps leaked over the past week, a new leak from SmartPrix and X user @chunvn8888 has revealed One UI 7.0 design changes. The images posted below show One UI 7.0's new Quick Panel design along with a more rounded UI design language.

The Quick Panel is now divided into two sections: quick setting toggles and notifications. You can switch between those two pages by swiping right or left. You also have the option to hide the labels of quick setting toggles. The new design looks like an improved version of the Quick Panel design that debuted with One UI 6.0 rather than iOS, which some rumors equated it with.

As you can see in the screenshots below, Samsung has changed the icons for several of its stock apps, including Camera, Clock, Contacts, Gallery, and Weather. The icons for the Phone and Samsung Internet apps have been redesigned slightly for a more three-dimensional look. Even in the Settings app, section dividers have more rounded corners.

Samsung also seems to have improved the Continuity feature, which now lets users send video call notifications to their nearby devices. This feature allows regular or video calls to be continued from a Galaxy phone to a Galaxy tablet or a Samsung TV nearby. This feature needs both devices to be signed in using the same Samsung Account. Notifications now have a more rounded look and more space between individual notifications.

The story continues after our One UI 6.1.1 hands-on video below.

Samsung could release the first beta version of One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S24 series in the next few weeks. Over the next couple of months, the One UI 7.0 Beta Program could extend to other high-end phones, including the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The stable One UI 7.0 update could be released to almost all eligible Galaxy phones and tablets before the end of this year. The remaining devices might get the update in the first quarter of 2025.
