Over the past five years, I went from using only one Samsung phone to using Galaxy tablets, smartwatches, wireless earbuds, power banks, and even smart TVs along with my mobile device. You could say I'm invested in Samsung's product ecosystem, but I don't think I've explored it deeply enough.
Looking into the near future, I think my next stop on this Samsung journey will be the Bespoke product line. I'm very much looking forward to expanding my understanding of Samsung's ecosystem through new experiences, but more importantly, I'm hoping to buy some free time. Allow me to explain.
My first Bespoke will be a Jet Bot AI vacuum, and here's why
Samsung is one of the best home appliance manufacturers, and in 2024, the Bespoke product lineup is full of smart appliances, ranging from microwave ovens and fridges to vacuum cleaners — most of which can communicate with your Galaxy phone through the SmartThings app.
Although I would love to have a house fully equipped with Samsung smart home devices and appliances, that's not a very realistic scenario for me.
For the most part, it comes down to the fact that I tend to move to a new location every few years. And even if I can no longer say that I'm traveling light like I once did, I still try to avoid buying items that are too difficult to move, such as refrigerators and ranges.
However, what I could use is a smart vacuum cleaner that can potentially buy me some extra free time. And I've got my eyes fixed on the surprisingly clever Jet Bot AI series from Samsung.
Jet Bot might convert some of my cash into more spare time
Hand on my heart, Samsung didn't gift me a Jet Bot vacuum to write this editorial — although I wish it did. I'm just sharing my thoughts, and if you've ever been in a similar situation as me, you know that adult life can sometimes get busy, especially when you don't have a maid and don't share responsibilities and chores with someone else.
If you're like me, you need to go shopping, cook (unless you want to spend too much money on takeout every day), and clean regularly. And although a Galaxy phone doesn't help with any of these tasks, I'm thinking that a smart vacuum cleaner might buy me back some free time. And I'm all for gaining some extra extra time, even if it means making an up-front investment.
The story continues after the video
As you may have seen in Samsung's recent demo video, which kind of started this whole thought process for me, the clever Jet Bot AI+ vacuum cleaner is both a vacuum and a mop. It has auto-empty capabilities thanks to the Clean Station, a water tank it can use whenever needed, and a self-cleaning brush. It can detect floor types and adapt to different types of stains to keep your floors clean. And all things considered, it probably can do a better job than me keeping the floors clean.
Even though a smart vacuum couldn't do all of my cleaning around the house (there's more to it than cleaning floors, unfortunately), the Jet Bot AI+ could at least keep my floors clean day after day and relieve me of the regular chore of vacuuming and mopping the old way.
It's not the chore itself that I want to avoid, but because the Jet Bot seems like it could buy me a bit of extra free time — time I could spend doing something other than vacuuming and mopping floors — I'm slowly becoming a fan of this Bespoke device.
I am almost convinced I will buy a roaming Bespoke vacuum from Samsung the next time I move. And I'll be honest, I'm really looking forward to learning about everything it can do and maybe even sharing my experience with you.
