Samsung has made all the devices that it launched at Galaxy Unpacked 2024 available to purchase. With that out of the way, the company has started giving us more detailed information about them, including showing us their internals. Earlier this week, Samsung gave us a look at what’s inside the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Now, the brand has taken apart its latest flagship smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch Ultra, to show it piece by piece.Summarize in one-click with Galaxy AI

Samsung has released two images to show what’s inside the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The first shows all the major internal components from the front to the rear of the smartwatch and the second shows them from the rear to the front of the wearable. As you can see in the images, the Galaxy Watch Ultra has seven main components: Sensor, Rear Deco, Back Case, printed board assembly (PBA), Display, and Index Deco.

Galaxy Watch Ultra packs more advanced tech

Most things shown in these images are standard affairs. However, there are a few things that stand out. First, Samsung says that the BioActive Sensor in the Galaxy Watch Ultra has 13 LEDs instead of 4 in the Galaxy Watch 7. The additional nine LEDs help in tracking health metrics more accurately. Second, the case of the smartwatch is made out of titanium, which is much stronger than steel use stainless (SUS) in other models.

Third, the Galaxy Watch Ultra features the Exynos W1000 SoC, which is made on a 3nm fabrication process, a first in the Wear OS market, helping it sip 30% lower power than the one in older models. Fourth, the display of the Galaxy Watch Ultra has a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, the highest in the industry, similar to the Apple Watch Ultra. Then there’s the band, which stands out among all the Wear OS smartwatches.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra not only looks great from the outside but on the inside as well. If you have an older Galaxy Watch and considering upgrading to the latest flagship model or looking to purchase a smartwatch, watch our video above to check out the five reasons why you should get the Galaxy Watch Ultra. If you have already made up your mind to get one, click on the link below to get the best deal on the smartwatch.
