Samsung is rolling out the June 2024 security update to both, non-cellular and cellular variants of the Galaxy Tab A7 (2020), which have model numbers SM-T500 and SM-T505 respectively. The new software updates for the two models carry firmware versions T500XXS8CXG1 and T505XXS8CXG1 respectively. The last month’s security update fixes a total of 59 security issues.
Your Galaxy Tab A7 (2020) will automatically notify you about the latest software update when Samsung makes it available for the device. At that point, click on the alert and tap on Download and install to get it on your tablet. If the tablet doesn’t send the notification, you will have to check for the update manually by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
