Earlier this year, Samsung introduced its first leather back phone, the Galaxy F55. Now, the company is bringing that design ethos to its cheaper phone, the Galaxy F05. The unannounced entry-level smartphone from Samsung has leaked, revealing its design in a set of high-resolution images.
Galaxy F05 has a fake leather back and a dual-camera setup
The first images of the upcoming Galaxy F05 entry-level smartphone have leaked, revealing an interesting design detail. It has a “vegan leather” back, similar to the Galaxy C55 and the Galaxy F55. The images of the Galaxy F05 reveal that the phone has an Infinity-U display with a chunky chin and a plastic body. The phone's power and volume keys are on the right side, while the SIM card slot is on the left.
The Galaxy F05 can be seen in blue color in the leaked images, but the phone might be launched in more colors. Overall, the phone looks much better than its predecessor, the Galaxy F04. Two months ago, the device (SM-E055F/DS) was spotted for the first time as it passed the Wi-Fi Alliance certification, revealing that it has 4G LTE and Wi-Fi 5 connectivity.

While not much is known about the Galaxy F05, Samsung is undoubtedly making its Galaxy M version, which will be called the Galaxy M05. Both phones might have 6.7-inch LCD screens with HD resolution, an entry-level processor from MediaTek or Samsung, and a 5,000mAh battery. They might have a 13MP primary camera, a 2MP auxiliary camera, and a 5MP or 8MP front-facing camera.
The phones might run Android 14 out of the box and get at least two major Android OS updates. Both phones might be launched in India, while the Galaxy M05 might be launched in South Asia and Latin America.
