Last week, Samsung released One UI 6.1.1 to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. It brings a ton of new features to the duo, which you can check out in our video below. Initially, the company released it in South Korea and then expanded it to Asia. Now, the South Korean tech giant has made the new software for the two devices available in the United States.
Samsung has started rolling out the Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 update to the carrier-locked variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 for the US. The update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 comes bearing firmware version F946USQU4DXH7 and that for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 comes bearing firmware version F731USQU4DXH9. It is worth mentioning that the new firmware files still have last month’s security patch instead of the September 2024 security patch.

To get the latest update, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. It is possible that you might not see an update as Samsung is most likely rolling it out in phases. In that case, you will have to wait till the company makes it available for your device. If you don’t want to wait, you can get the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 from our database.
