[Video] Galaxy S24 FE camera review breaks down all you need to know

We've been using the Galaxy S24 FE for a while now and spent enough time with Samsung's new Fan Edition phone to form a clear idea about its camera capabilities. We gathered and distilled all our knowledge and experience with the Galaxy S24 FE for a new camera review video, but this time, we took a different route than usual. Here's all you need to know.

Instead of comparing the Galaxy S24 FE's camera with the standard S24, S24+, or S24 Ultra, we decided a more realistic approach might be to point and shoot photos and videos with the Galaxy S24 FE as any average user would. Then, we'd let the photos and video speak for themselves and see whether the camera experience is satisfactory.

Check out our video below for lots more details, sample photos and videos, and our conclusion, and decide for yourself whether the results are good enough for you as a prospective Galaxy S24 FE buyer.

More details after the video

If you can't watch the video right now, first of all, put a pin in it for later. It's worth a watch if you have any intentions of buying the Galaxy S24 FE and you're wondering about cameras. And second of all, here's a bit of a sneak peek in text form:

  • The Galaxy S24 FE ultrawide camera is a bit soft and mushy, particularly when exposed to details like heavy foliage. However, it has a decent dynamic range even in tricky situations.
  • The wide camera delivers way better details than the ultrawide shooter, with good dynamic range, albeit sometimes overblown. It also has a nice natural depth of field effect thanks to the relatively large sensor size.
  • The telephoto shooter is the weakest link and we had a lot to say about it. But, in short portrait mode with 3x zoom looks okay. However, once you push the telephoto camera to 10x or 30x (which is its maximum), it becomes rather pointless.

Make sure you check out our Galaxy S24 FE camera review video above for more information. And if you like what you see and want to own the Galaxy S24 FE, you can hit the buy button below for a shortcut to Samsung's official online store.
