Yesterday, Samsung started teasing the upcoming launch of the Galaxy Ring in India. Today, the company has announced the launch of the Galaxy Ring in India and revealed the wearable device's pricing. It also announced a launch offer that will be available to users who pre-order the wearable.

Galaxy Ring pricing in India

The Galaxy Ring is priced at INR 38,999 ($464) in India. It will be available through Amazon.in, Flipkart, Samsung.com, and select retail stores across India. It will have three color options: Titanium Black, Titanium Gold, and Titanium Silver.

Those who buy the Galaxy Ring before on or before October 18 will get Samsung's 25W USB-C charging adapter for free. Samsung is offering financing for buying the Galaxy Ring through Bajaj Finance and Samsung Finance+.

Galaxy Ring features

The Galaxy Ring is extremely compact and can be worn on your fingers. It weighs just 2.3 grams to 3 grams and is available in nine sizes, ranging from 5 to 13. Its frame is made using titanium and it has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance (up to 100 meters). It can be charged using a bundled charging case that holds 1.5x additional charge. Samsung claims the Galaxy Ring can last 5-7 days on a single charge.

It has a BioActive Sensor, which combines an accelerometer, gyro, heart rate monitor, and skin temperature sensor. It measures your movements, heart rate, skin temperature, and sleep. It can also track your workouts but lacks GPS, so outdoor activities can't be tracked accurately. All that fitness and health data is synced with the Samsung Health app on smartphones.

The Galaxy Ring uses ‘Health AI' for personalized health and fitness recommendations based on your goals, achievements, and workout records.

Galaxy Ring is not just another wearable, it’s a revolutionary health-tech device that blends innovation with accessibility. With advanced AI-driven insights, 24/7 health monitoring and a sleek, lightweight design, it empowers users to seamlessly track their wellness anytime, anywhere. With Galaxy Ring, we’re paving the way for a healthier, more connected future for all.
