As promised, Samsung started offering enhanced support for Galaxy AI users in more markets earlier today. The company rolled out a new content update that improved the AI platform with additional languages and dialects.

Today's update is welcoming millions more Galaxy device users to the Galaxy platform. As of this writing, Samsung's Galaxy AI features support a total of 20 languages and several dialects. Here's the full list of supported language packs you can now download on compatible Galaxy phones and tablets.

  • Arabic
  • Chinese (Mainland)
  • Chinese (Hong Kong)
  • Chinese (Taiwan)
  • Dutch
  • English (United States)
  • English (Australia)
  • English (India)
  • English (United Kingdom)
  • French (Canada)
  • French (France)
  • German
  • Hindi
  • Indonesian
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Polish
  • Portuguese (Brazil)
  • Portuguese (Portugal)
  • Romanian
  • Russian
  • Spanish (United States)
  • Spanish (Mexico)
  • Spanish (Spain)
  • Swedish
  • Thai
  • Turkish
  • Vietnamese

To use Galaxy AI in any of these languages, you have to download their respective packs onto your Galaxy device first.

You can do this by opening the Settings app on your phone or tablet, accessing “Galaxy AI” (or “Advanced Features” > “Galaxy AI”), selecting a Galaxy AI option, and downloading the language pack of your choice.

Note that once you download the language pack for one Galaxy AI feature, it will be available for all other Galaxy AI tools that have a language component:

Hit the links above to see what each of these Galaxy AI features does, and also feel free to check our video below for every Galaxy AI feature presented on the new Galaxy S24 FE.

You can select your desired language for each Galaxy AI feature individually. Also, note that each Galaxy AI tool has its own menu structure and terminology. For some Galaxy AI tools, you will have to dig deeper to access language options, but others will present them upfront.

Lastly, if you don't see your language in the Galaxy AI language pack list on your device, Samsung is working on improving the generative AI experience with support for more languages and dialects. Exactly which countries will be added to the list next is unknown, but it is possible that more language packs will be released alongside the Galaxy S25 series early next year.
