Samsung has become the first brand to release the November 2024 security update. The new update is rolling out to the Galaxy Tab S7 FE series. In the coming days, the update could be released to more Samsung smartphones and tablets.
It is surprising to see that the update has reached a mid-range device before hitting higher-end devices.
Galaxy Tab S7 FE gets November 2024 security update in Korea
The new software update for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE series is now available in South Korea. The update comes bearing firmware version T735NKOS7DXJ1 and brings the November 2024 security patch. It fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities that were discovered in the previous software version.
Samsung hasn't detailed the November 2024 security patch yet, but we expect the company to reveal those details in a matter of a week.
If you have a Galaxy Tab S7 FE and live in South Korea, you can now download the new software update on your tablet. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also choose the manual firmware flashing method where you are required to download the appropriate firmware version from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung will likely start rolling out the update to Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series smartphones in the next few days. Most mid-range phones and tablets, including Galaxy A, Galaxy F, Galaxy M, and Galaxy Tab A devices, will likely get the update in the second half of this month.
Before the end of this year, the South Korean firm is expected to release the One UI 7.0 beta update (based on Android 15) to the Galaxy S24 series. Early next year, the company will likely release the stable One UI 7.0 update to most qualifying devices.
