According to tipster @chunvn8888 on X, the One UI 7.0 update will not bring many Galaxy AI features. Instead, Samsung reportedly plans to ship new Galaxy AI features with the One UI 7.1 update. Those Galaxy AI features include AI Notification Summary and AI Emoji.
The AI Notification Summary feature was leaked a few weeks ago. It could be similar to iOS 18's Summarize Notification Previews feature on iPhones and iPads. It will likely create a summary of all the notifications received from apps.
The AI Emoji feature could let you create a mix and match of multiple emojis, similar to the Gboard app's Emoji Kitchen feature.
Even more Galaxy AI-powered features might debut with One UI 7.1, and information about them will likely be revealed after the launch of the Galaxy S25 early next year.
The Galaxy S25 series could debut with One UI 7.0 early next year (likely January 2025). The One UI 7.1 update could come a few months later, and it could largely focus on Galaxy AI features and some hardware-specific features designed for the Galaxy S25.
