When Samsung first released the Galaxy Ring months ago, it didn't have a trade-in program for the wearable — not even in markets like the USA, where the company usually has very generous trade-in offers for other Galaxy devices. That has now changed!
Samsung has launched the first trade-in offers for Galaxy Ring buyers. It's as simple as it gets. The company now accepts smartwatches and smart rings from other brands and offers a flat $100 discount to Galaxy Ring buyers. No more, no less. If your device is accepted by the trade-in program, you get $100 off. It's that simple.
Smart rings compatible with the trade-in program (in the USA) include:
- Amazfit Helio.
- Evie Ring.
- Oura Heritage Gen 1 – Gen 3.
- Oura Horizon Gen 1 – Gen 3.
- Ringconn Smart Ring.
- Ultrahuman Ring Air.

Smartwatch users can trade-in virtually “Any model in any condition” for a $100 discount on the Galaxy Ring. Even so, Samsung feels the need to directly specifies some brands and models, such as:
- Galaxy Watch or Gear — any model.
- Any Apple Watch.
- Fitbit Watch.
- Fossil Watch.
- Numerous Garmin models.
With either one of these trade-in deals, you can buy the Galaxy Ring for $299 instead of $399. And regardless of whether you trade-in or not, you can get the $10 Sizing Kit for free if you don't know your Galaxy Ring size.
