Samsung is making further progress on One UI 7.0 development for Galaxy devices this week. Android 15 firmware that Samsung is testing for the Galaxy S23 FE internally have been spotted on the company's servers. This comes just a couple of days after test builds were discovered for the other Galaxy S23 models.
As always, it's worth pointing out that test firmware is not the same as beta firmware. The former are what Samsung uses to test a new version of Android and One UI on every device. The latter are those that customers in select countries get to test ahead of a new version of Android and One UI's official worldwide release through Samsung's yearly One UI beta programs.
The One UI 7.0 beta program will begin sometime later this year, but it is unlikely to support the Galaxy S23 FE. Only the mainstream Galaxy S models receive beta updates, and there is no indication right now that Samsung will make an exception for the One UI 7.0 beta.
In fact, as of November 21, Android 15 beta firmware have only been spotted for the Galaxy S24 lineup. The latest Galaxy S flagship is always the first one to get beta updates, and other devices usually join the party a few weeks later. However, whether it's the latest Galaxy S lineup or last year's, the Fan Edition models are never supported.
