There's been some back and forth about Samsung's release plans for One UI 7.0, but we may have finally pinpointed the company's tentative release roadmap, starting with the beta program.
Samsung's One UI 7.0 release program will reportedly look something like this:
- Galaxy S24 will get the first One UI 7.0 public beta build in the first week of December. Availability will be limited by region.
- The Galaxy S23 series will join the One UI 7.0 beta testing phase at least 2-3 weeks after.
- The One UI 7.0 beta program may take two months to complete. The stable build will likely roll out in February 2024.
- The Galaxy S22 series may or may not get access to One UI 7.0 beta.
- The Galaxy S21 will NOT get access to One UI 7.0 beta.
Take this information with a pinch of salt, as Samsung's beta plans are never certain until the final moment. In any case, thanks for the tip, @FamilyTaes.
It should also be underlined that the list of devices mentioned above is not exhaustive. The One UI 7.0 beta program may also land on select foldables at some point.
On a final note, the upcoming Galaxy S25 series is expected to ship with One UI 7.0 beta out of the box. If rumors are true, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 on January 22.
