Leaks showing Samsung's upcoming phones and screenshots of the upcoming version of One UI running on those phones don't happen often, but on this rare occasion, that's exactly what has happened.
Photos of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, along with screenshots of One UI 7.0 (Android 15) from the pictured phone, have been published on Reddit by user GamingMK (via Android Authority).
Back in October, we got some hands-on time with One UI 7.0 on a Galaxy S24 Ultra so we already know what to expect. But it's still nice to see how the next major One UI update will look on Samsung's next flagship phone.
Samsung confirmed earlier this year that One UI 7.0 and Android 15 will debut on the Galaxy S25 series next year. The Galaxy S24 and other existing devices will get the stable One UI 7.0 update after that, though a beta program allowing early access will launch sometime next month.
As for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, these photos leave no doubt that Samsung is finally shifting to a design with more rounded corners for the Ultra model. It's a good decision, too. The sharp corners of previous Galaxy S Ultra smartphones made one-handed usage uncomfortable, and the issue was compounded when Samsung ditched curved screens for good with the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will also have a flat display. Other aspects of the design, such as the location of ports and the S Pen slot, will be the same as the S24 Ultra's and older Ultra models. What won't be the same is performance, as inside the slim, rounded body of the Galaxy S25 Ultra will sit the incredibly potent Snapdragon 8 Elite.
