Samsung has started rolling out the November 2024 software update for the Galaxy S24 series for the second time. The first update, which brought the November 2024 security patch, was released early last month, and instead of releasing the December 2024 update, Samsung has now pushed out another update with last month's security patch.
Galaxy S24 gets second software update in November 2024
The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra have started getting a new software update in Europe. It comes with firmware version S92xBXXU4AXK4 and has a download size of over 500MB. However, it isn't the December 2024 security update. Instead, it shows the security patch level as November 2024.
The update doesn't specifically reveal what has improved. Instead, Samsung has done the same copy/paste job that it usually does with security updates. As usual, the update says that it improves the device stability, fixes known bugs, adds new/enhanced features, and improves performance. It is hard to know if all these things have been delivered with the update.
If you live in Europe and have a Galaxy S24 series phones, you can now check out the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. The update might be released in other countries in the next few days.
