We are less than a month away from the announcement of the Galaxy S25. A few days ago, it was leaked that Samsung could make the official announcement on January 22. But when can you actually get your hands on the phone?
According to a new leak, the Galaxy S25 could reach your hands in early February 2025.
Galaxy S25 could reach your doorstep and store shelves in February 2025
As per a report from Financial News, Samsung plans to release the Galaxy S25 in South Korea on February 7, 2025. After getting announced on January 22, Samsung's new high-end phones could go on pre-order almost immediately (January 24) in some markets and end on February 3.
While the report doesn't mention the Galaxy S25 release date for any other market, we expect it to align with the release date for Samsung's home market. Earlier this year, the Galaxy S24 was released on January 31 in South Korea, the USA, and several other American and European countries.
It is expected that Samsung could increase the price of the Galaxy S25 series compared to its predecessor in some markets.
The report also claims that Samsung will equip all Galaxy S25 series phones globally with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. It also claims the Galaxy S25 “Slim,” a sub-7mm thin phone, will be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event next month. However, it is hard to believe that claim.
Similar to yesterday's report, the Financial News report also claims that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a 50MP ultrawide camera, an upgrade compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra's 12MP ultrawide camera. It also claims that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will come with 16GB RAM for 512GB and 1TB variants.
