BREAKING: Galaxy S23 leaks have begun, check out these Galaxy S23+ renders!

It's just been a little over a month since Samsung's latest 2022 flagships, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, went on sale around the world, but leaks for the next big flagship series from the Korean giant have already started. The folks over at Smartprix have published renders of the Galaxy S23+, showing us the device from nearly every angle.

It seems that with the Galaxy S23 lineup, Samsung is doing away with the classy camera-island-meets-metal-frame design on the rear for all models. The three rear cameras now protrude from the body separately, just like the cameras on this year's Galaxy S22 Ultra. If we're being honest, the new design with the individual camera rings do not look so great in the renders, but we'll leave our judgement for when we can see the Galaxy S23 series in person.

Galaxy S23+ renders show no SIM tray, but it's probably no reason to panic

Something to note here is that the renders don't seem to have a SIM card tray at the bottom of the phone, but that's probably just the fact that these aren't official images. It's extremely unlikely that Samsung will remove the SIM tray on its next flagship lineup – even the new iPhones do have a SIM tray despite the fact that you can't actually put a physical SIM card inside them in the US market.

As for the front of the Galaxy S23+, there's reportedly a 6.6-inch screen similar to the S22+, although the dimensions are said to be slightly different. The Galaxy S23+ is reportedly slightly taller and wider compared to its predecessor with dimensions of 157.7 x 76.1 x 7.6mm (the S22+ measures 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6 mm).

That's all we get to learn with this leak. It's not a lot, but now that the floodgates have been opened, we should see more and more information about the Galaxy S23 series leaking out in the near future. Just don't expect to be blown away by major hardware upgrades, because if a previous leak is accurate, Samsung is going to reuse most of the hardware from the Galaxy S22 series and focus on improving the experience through the software side of things, especially on the S23 and S23+.
