Have you ever considered creating ASMR videos, but the lack of equipment kept you from doing so? If that's the case, Samsung has you covered, as long as you own a Galaxy flagship that offers Pro Video Mode. The company shared a few tips and tricks on getting your Galaxy smartphone ready for ASMR recording in just a few steps.

Samsung Indonesia shared a video on TikTok, including tips and tricks on setting up your Galaxy flagship's microphones via Pro Video Mode to get the best audio setup for an ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) video. You know, the type of video containing audio effects that trigger a tingling sensation for some people and helps them sleep or relax. Apparently, you can get high-quality ASMR audio recordings using only your smartphone, without additional accessories or professional microphones.

Did you know? Samsung sponsored an ASMR project through C-Lab

You may not be aware of this, but this isn't the first time Samsung has dabbled in the world of ASMR. Back in 2018, the company's C-Lab — an in-house idea incubation program — sponsored aiMo, which is an ASMR sound recording solution for Galaxy smartphones. The project developed a smartphone accessory shaped like a pair of ears for ASMR recording.

Nowadays, Samsung smartphones can apparently record ASMR-grade audio with just a few microphone tweaks via the Pro Video Mode inside the Camera app, and you don't need a pair of fake ears to create tingly sounds. If you want to learn more, check out Samsung Indonesia's TikTok video on how to set up your Galaxy phone to get the best audio for these types of recordings.
