Over the past several weeks, Samsung has expanded its budget phone portfolio in Vietnam with the addition of the Galaxy A04 and the Galaxy A04s. Starting today, October 20, customers in Vietnam get another option, this time featuring 5G connectivity.
Samsung has released the Galaxy A23 5G for Vietnam, and early buyers get special benefits, including a 0% interest installment plan with 30% prepayment and gift vouchers worth up to VND 500,000 ($20).
Customers buying the Galaxy A23 5G before November 30 get two Shopee food vouchers worth VND 200,000 ($8), two CGV gift codes worth VND 200,000, and two Phuc Long vouchers with a value of VND 100,000 ($4).
Wait a few weeks and get a better price on the Galaxy A23 5G
Oddly enough, prospective buyers who will hold off from buying the Galaxy A23 5G before November 11 can get a better price on the device. The company announced today that the Galaxy A23 5G will be VND 300,000 ($12) cheaper between November 11-14 and November 25-28.
As of today, the Galaxy A23 5G featuring 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, is available for the starting price of VND 6,690,000 ($272). The company asks VND 6,990,000 ($284) for the variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of memory, meaning that customers have to pay only $12 extra for 2GB of additional RAM.
Triple-camera 5G budget phone powered by Snapdragon
Unlike the LTE model, which features the Snapdragon 680 SoC, the newer Galaxy A23 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. It sports the Adreno 619 graphics chip rather than the Adreno 610, which means it should offer better performance in mobile games.
The Galaxy A23 5G sports a 6.6-inch HD+ display with an Infinity-V cut for the 8MP selfie camera. The panel can run at a refresh rate of 120Hz. The back of the device carries a 50MP wide-angle camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and 2MP macro and depth sensors.
The 5G budget phone conceals a 5,000mAh battery with 25W super-fast charging capabilities. Samsung customers in Vietnam can choose to buy the Galaxy A23 5G in three color options: black, blue, or pink gold.
