Two weeks ago, Samsung released the October 2022 security update to the Galaxy A32. The South Korean firm has now released its newest security update to the 5G version of the phone, the Galaxy A32 5G. The company is yet to release the November 2022 security update to any phone as a part of the stable update.
The latest security update for the Galaxy A32 5G comes with firmware version A326BXXS4BVJ1. The update is rolling out in Brazil, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. More countries could get the update within the next few days. The October 2022 security patch brings fixes for dozens of privacy and security vulnerabilities in Galaxy devices. It could also include general bug fixes and stability improvements.
If you have a Galaxy A32 5G in any of the countries mentioned above, you can install the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also choose to download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A32 5G in early 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The device received the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update earlier this year. It will get the Android 13-based One UI 5 update in Q1 2023.
