We are just a couple of months away from the Galaxy S23 announcement. Samsung is expected to launch its next-generation flagship smartphones in January 2023. Ahead of the launch, the specifications of all those phones have leaked. Now, the camera specifications of the Galaxy S23 Ultra have been confirmed.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom. While only the primary camera seems to be getting an upgrade, previous reports have indicated that ultrawide and telephoto cameras will also see improvements, thanks to better image processing.
Some reports claimed that the primary camera on the Galaxy S23 Ultra would feature sensor-shift OIS, similar to the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro. However, it hasn't been confirmed yet. We can expect better image and video quality even in low-light conditions and OIS for the front-facing 40MP camera.
The Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ are not expected to bring any improvements in rear-facing camera hardware. The front-facing camera may be upgraded to a 12MP sensor and feature OIS.
So
200MP + 10MP (10X, Periscope Tele) + 10MP (3x Tele) + 12MP (UW)
On the S23 Ultra should be fun?
