Earlier this week, Samsung released the November 2022 security update. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 was the first phone to get the new security patch in the stable form. Over the past few weeks, the new security update has reached over half a dozen models. Now, the update has been expanded to the Galaxy S10 Lite in some markets.
The latest software update for the Galaxy S10 Lite comes with firmware version G770FXXS6GVK1. The new update is available in Spain, and we expect it to be released in other European countries over the next few days. In other regions, too, the update could arrive before the end of this month. The November 2022 security patch brings fixes for more than four dozen security vulnerabilities.
If you are a Galaxy S10 Lite user in Spain, you can download the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also opt to download the newest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
The Galaxy S10 Lite is getting the update ahead of the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and the Galaxy S10 5G. Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 Lite in January 2020 with Android 10 onboard. The device received the Android 11 update in December 2020, the Android 12 update earlier this year, and is scheduled to get the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update before the end of this year.
