On July 23 we posted about Samsung's rumoured smartwatch. Well, a day later a listing showed up on Zaumba, which seemingly confirms this watch. The SM-V700 is, according to Zaumba, a watch, a Samsung Mobile Accessory if you will, though not many details are available other than that.

Smartwatches are going to be the next big thing by companies such as Google, Apple, Samsung, LG and Sony, and it looks like the Korean manufacturer is working hard and fast to beat everyone to the punch. Samsung could unveil their first smartwatch at IFA 2013, and you can rest assured SamMobile will be there!

Update: Our sources have confirmed that Samsung Germany has received a Samsung SmartWatch Prototype and has also begun testing firmwares for the device. No other European country has one, instead of Germany, maybe this indicates an IFA 2013 launch.

Latest test firmware: V700XXUAMG8/V700OXAAMG8/

After Samsung, Apple to copy Meta’s Ray-Ban Smart Glasses

Last year, Apple unveiled the Apple Vision Pro, the company’s first AR and VR headset. While it is very capable, it isn’t useful for most people in their day-to-day lives as it doesn’t replace a device or solve a problem. Plus, it is very expensive. With all that, not many are buying the product. Meta’s […]
