A new lower mid-range Samsung phone has been certified by the Chinese Industry and Information Technology Ministry, only carrying a model number (SM-G3509) without any name associated with it. By the looks of it, it seems to be yet another variant to add to the laundry list of Android smartphones by the Korean manufacturer, headed to China Telecom.
The specs are positively ancient by today's standards, though the price will probably be low enough to not make that an issue. The hardware includes a 4.3″ WVGA (480 x 800) LCD display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 3-megapixel camera on the rear, and the handset runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. In terms of dimensions, we're looking at a 128.0 × 65.7 × 9.4mm body that weights 124.8g.
No details on launch and pricing are available, and we probably won't see this guy leave China.
