UK carrier Three has announced, via a YouTube video, that it will begin offering the Galaxy Note 8.0 to customers soon, though failing to mention a specific launch date. As Three's 4G network will be going live as we inch closer to end of the year, the carrier will be carrying the LTE-enabled variant of the 8-inch Note.
The stylus-toting Galaxy Note 8 sports an 8-inch screen of 1280 x 800 resolution, and is powered by a quad-core Exynos 4212 CPU coupled with 2GB of RAM. There's a 5-megapixel camera on the back, 16GB of built-in memory expandable via the microSD slot, a 4,600mAh battery, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and HSPA+ connectivity. On the software front, the tablet runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with features like split-screen multitasking, and has also received an upgrade to Android 4.2.2.
