We have just received an anonymous tip about Samsung's upcoming smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear. The Galaxy Gear has been hanging around the rumour mill for quite sometime now but the only solid evidence behind Samsung's smartwatch was the patent filing, registered on May 31st, with the model number “SM-V700” and a concept design of a watch. Recently, our insiders confirmed that Samsung will be unveiling the smartwatch alongside the Galaxy Note III at Samsung Mobile UNPACKED Episode 2 2013 event on 4th of September in Berlin.

According to the anonymous tipster, the Galaxy Gear will feature the following specificationss:-
CPU: Samsung Exynos 4212 dual core 1.5GHz
GPU: ARM Mali-400 MP4
RAM: 1GB
Display: 320×320 (3cm×3cm – 1.67-inches) AMOLED (not sure if it's flexible)
Camera: 2 Megapixel
Connectivity: Bluetooth, NFC

Take this information with a pinch of salt as these specifications came from an anonymous source and we are not able to confirm this information with our insiders at the moment. We will keep you folks updated as soon as we receive some new information.
