Samsung has announced a new app in South Korea that complements its existing S Health feature found on Galaxy S4 devices. The S Health Buddy enables users to create an avatar based on the height and weight of the user and can be customised with various outfits to suit the workout session. The S Health Buddy works out with you, which means when you burn those real calories, the S Health Buddy is losing the weight in its virtual world as well!

To make the app social, Samsung has integrated a leaderboard that shows off the top users with the most calories burned in the week and even brings badges support that can be earned as per the milestones achieved during the workout.

The S Health Buddy is currently available for Galaxy S4 and its variants running Android 4.2.2+.
