After announcing that the Galaxy Note 8.0 will be made available on its network, Three UK has today launched the 8-inch member of Samsung's Note family. You can grab the device on a two-year contract for as low as £19.99 per month and a £69 upfront cost, or outright for £369. You also get free £100.00 content, including Music Hub subscription, AVG antivirus, 50GB Dropbox storage for 2 years, plus a 16GB microSD card.
The Galaxy Note 8 sports an 8-inch screen of 1280 x 800 resolution, and is powered by a quad-core Exynos 4212 CPU coupled with 2GB of RAM. There’s a 5-megapixel camera on the back, 16GB of built-in memory expandable via the microSD slot, a 4,600mAh battery, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and HSPA+ connectivity. On the software front, the tablet runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with features like split-screen multitasking, and has also received an upgrade to Android 4.2.2. Oh, and you also get an S Pen stylus for pen input.
