Sprint makes huge price cut on Samsung ATIV S Neo

It was only a few days back that Sprint, the third-largest U.S. carrier, launched the Windows Phone 8-powered Samsung ATIV S Neo, but it looks like consumer interest was a bit low – the carrier has drastically cut prices on the smartphone, dropping it to only $49.99 from $149.99 on a two-year contract.

To be honest, it isn't really a surprise that the ATIV S Neo (or the HTC 8XT) isn't seeing much interest from the public. Nokia has pretty much become the go-to manufacturer when it comes to Windows Phone, and with great Lumia devices like the Lumia 920 or the upcoming Lumia 1020, high-end devices like Samsung's ATIV are going to be sitting on the shelves unless Samsung and other manufacturers start showing more interest in Microsoft's young mobile platform.

But hey, $49.99 is still a great price for what's on offer here, so don't feel bad if you visit the source link to buy the Samsung ATIV S Neo. Though if I had to personally choose, I'd go for the greener pastures in Nokia county (or Samsung's Android smartphones), so, you know, don't go rushing into your purchase decision.
