Samsung's newest and most powerful phablet yet is now up for pre-order in Australia, via retailer Mobicity, who is offering both the LTE and non-LTE variants of the device. The former (N9005), powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, is compatible with 4G LTE networks and will cost $899.95 excluding shipping (ouch!), with color options of Black and White.
Meanwhile, the non-LTE variant (N9000) is powered by an octa-core Exynos 5 processor – four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores – and is available for the same price as the N9005, and will also be offered in Black and White color options. It won't be compatible with LTE networks of course, but it's good to see consumers will have an option between Samsung's own processor and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 when choosing the Galaxy Note 3 (though carriers will likely launch only the LTE variant).
The device will begin shipping from September 25th, the same day 148 other countries will see it launch as well. Hit up the links below to place your pre-order.
