More details are emerging about one of Samsung's not-so-awaited Tizen smartphones. Carrying model number SM-Z9005, the device was spotted in a shipping manifest a few weeks back, and some of its specs were later confirmed through a user agent string, such as a 720p display and Snapdragon processor. Now, the Z9005 has appeared in shipping info once again, this time revealing that it has a 4.8-inch screen.
The 4.8-inch screen is another feature that pits the first Tizen phone as being a Galaxy S3 hardware-wise, though it is also possible it is simply a prototype testing device, backed by the fact that the OS was recently seen running on a developer edition S3. Rumors about the company's CEO delaying the first Tizen smartphone to make it one of “the best” devices also hint at the SM-Z9005 being just a test device, and it probably won't be long before we officially find out.
