Samsung has been acquiring quite a few startups and focusing heavily on improving the quality of its software, and now the company is also ready to recruit fresh talent from the South Korean military and train them in software programming. The defense ministry in the country is giving soldiers a chance to get a job at Samsung after they complete their compulsory military service; the army will select 150 soldiers as recommended software engineers, and Samsung will choose 100 among those and send them on a four-month training program focusing on software languages and programming, though whether they eventually secure a job at the Korean giant is something that will depend on how well they do in training.
