Sprint has announced that its Direct Connect Now app, which adds push-to-talk capabilities to a smartphone, is now compatible with multiple new handsets, including the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3. The updated version of the app will allow users to take advantage of the push-to-talk service (available at no charge on some plans, for $5 a month on others) on Sprint’s LTE network, and another update in the near future will be adding support for three more Samsung handsets: the Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy Mega, and the Galaxy S4 with Sprint Spark.
The updated Direct Connect Now app can be downloaded from the Play Store, though the update doesn't seem to be live just yet, so you might have to wait a few hours before the latest version becomes available for download.
