Samsung's smaller Galaxy Mega phone features a dual-core processor but Chinese consumers are in for a treat as Samsung has revealed an updated and slightly better variant of the phone dubbed as Galaxy Mega Plus. The ‘plus' in the name indicates the 1.2GHz quad-core processor as compared to Galaxy Mega 5.8's 1.4GHz dual-core.
Rest of the features however, are the same. The device has 5.8-inch display supporting qHD (960×540) resolution, 8 megapixel main camera, 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera, Multi Window support, S Translator, Group Play, microSD card expansion slot, dual-SIM connectivity, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2600mAh battery.
The phone seems to be restricted to China but our guess is that it should make it to other regions as well in the coming months.
