Last week, three new models in what could be the Galaxy Tab 4 series were ousted through a series of leaks. Today, two of these tablets, with model numbers SM-T530 and SM-T330, were certified by the FCC. These two models are for the Wi-Fi only editions of the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. FCC certification indicates an imminent launch for these tablets, which could mean an official unveil next week at the Mobile World Congress. There is no news as far as the design of these tablets is concerned, but it is likely that they will look similar to tablets in the Galaxy Tab 3 series.

Both the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 share similar hardware, which sees a screen resolution of 1280 x 800, quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory and Android 4.4 KitKat. Both the 10.1-inch and 8.0-inch versions of the Galaxy Tab 4 are said to come in three variants: Wi-Fi only, 3G and LTE. The LTE 10.1-inch version is said to feature 1.5 GB RAM, with other hardware remaining the same. There is also a 7.0-inch variant in the series that would constitute the entry-level offering.
