In what can only be regarded as a strange move, Samsung will sell the Galaxy Note 3 Neo in Germany for more than the Note 3. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo will be available from later this month for 579 Euros ($796). The original Note 3, meanwhile, is available for anywhere between 500 to 520 Euros. However, the 579 Euro is Samsung’s suggested retail price, which means that the handset might be available for less once it becomes available in stores. The device will likely cost around what the Note 3 currently costs.
A similar situation is seen in the Indian market. Samsung has started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 3 Neo in India for Rs. 38,990 ($625), which is close to what the Note 3 is retailing for in the country. The Galaxy Note 3 price is currently varying from anywhere between Rs. 41,909 ($674) to Rs. 46,900 ($754) across e-commerce stores. Again, the Note 3 Neo might be available for less than its pre-order price, but the device has to be significantly more affordable than the Note 3 for it to find mainstream consumer interest. We should have more information once retailers start offering the device.
