Looks like that leaked Verizon internal document was legitimate, as the U.S. carrier has officially launched the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE. Last month, it was leaked that Verizon would be selling the LTE-enabled version of the tablet, while a further leak indicated that the announcement would take place on March 6. The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is now available and costs $849 outright, or $749 with a new two-year contract. The tablet features 32 GB of internal memory and comes with a similar faux-leather back design as the Galaxy Note 3 and an S Pen stylus.

While the Wi-Fi only version of the tablet has been selling in the U.S. since February, this is the first time the LTE version is available for purchase. The price may be high, but you do get a lot of high-end hardware. There is a 12.2-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600, 3 GB RAM, 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 and a 9,500 mAh battery. The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 comes with an 8 MP camera at the back and a 2 MP shooter at the front. Samsung is also bundling in a bevy of free services and utilities along with the tablet.
