Samsung unveiled its first set of accessories meant for Galaxy Core Advance consumers who require special assistance. The accessories will work in conjunction with the device's accessibility functions and will aid disabled and visually impaired users.
First is the Ultrasonic Cover that when held in the front of the user, will enable them to detect obstacles through a vibration or text-to-speech feedback. The cover can detect a person or an object up to 2 meters away.
Next is the Optical Scan Stand that automatically activates the Optical Scan application, which recognizes text from an image and reads it aloud to the user.
The Voice Label on the other hand, will assist users in distinguishing objects by allowing them to make notes and tag voice labels easily on-the-go with NFC.
These accessories are already on sale and plans to expand the accessibility of other Galaxy devices in the future.
