Last updated: July 1st, 2014 at 09:47 UTC+02:00

Last month, the T-Mobile variant of the Galaxy Note 3 received an update that brought Galaxy S5 features such as Download Booster and Kids Mode to Samsung's third-generation phablet flagship. Today, the same update has begun rolling out to the international Snapdragon variant of the device – an over the air update is currently available in the UK, and apart from the aforementioned features, the update also brings version 2.0 of KNOX. The update is around 185 MB in size, and carries build number N9005XXUFNF4.

The Kids Mode feature won't work right away, as the update only installs the Kids Mode installer, which you will need to use to download the necessary files. Expect the new update to make its way to other regions in the coming days. As usual, also expect to be waiting a few days before it shows up on your device, though if you're in a hurry, you can try pulling it manually from the Settings » General » About phone » Software updates menu.

Update: The same update is now rolling out in Russia as well. Expect the list of regions where it is available to expand considerably as the days go by.
