By now there have been countless rumors and leaks about the Samsung Galaxy F. This smartphone is believed to be the metal-touting variant of Samsung's existing flagship. Today a purported first live photo of the Galaxy F has leaked online which gives us an idea of what this device may look like outside of renders. Over the past few weeks multiple renders of this device have been leaked.
The metal body will certainly be its biggest selling point, though the Galaxy F is believed to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor aided by 3GB of RAM. A Quad HD display is also expected.
The live photo shows us that the Galaxy F's metal frame may actually be quite similar to that of the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s. Even though the frame might be identical the Galaxy F is still believed to have a removable plastic back.
Samsung has revealed no details about this device so unofficial sources are all we have to go on at this point in time. The Galaxy F is expected to be released in the coming months.
Update: The leaked image of the Galaxy F turned out to be fake. It appears to be a Galaxy S4 with an aluminium bumper case. The images shown below explain how the tipster might have faked it. Notice the placement of sensors and the speaker grill as well as an unusual cut near the corner.
