AT&T has announced that it is now selling the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, with the tablet available for order online from today, and from the carrier's retail stores from July 25. The tablet is priced at $369.99 if you buy it outright, and at $269.99 for those willing to sign a two-year contract – note that this is the price for the LTE-enabled 16GB variant, which makes that pricing easier to swallow for such a mid-range tablet. For those buying a Samsung phone along with the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, AT&T will give you back $50, though this will require a two-year agreement on the tablet.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features an 8-inch 1280×800 display, a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, a 3-megapixel rear camera, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD slot, a 4,450 mAh battery, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It's a pretty good tablet given its humble hardware, and you can check out our review here.
