The Galaxy Alpha will be a smartphone of many firsts for Samsung. It will feature a metallic body, something that hasn't been seen on any Android phone from Samsung yet, and it will also be the first device to not have expandable storage. We've known that the phone would be sporting 32 GB of internal storage, and now, we can confirm that the Galaxy Alpha will also be available in a 64 GB variant. That should be a good option for those who aren't content with only 32 GB of storage, though it remains to be seen if the 64 GB model will be widely available or whether it will be as elusive as most 64 GB smartphones are.
The Galaxy Alpha is expected to be unveiled on August 13, and was already shown off at a secret event in Russia over the weekend. It features a 4.7-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, Exynos 5430/Snapdragon 80x processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera, fingerprint and heart rate sensors, 1860mAh battery, and Android 4.4 KitKat, all in a body that is thinner than the iPhone 5s.
