The wait has finally ended today as Samsung has formally announced the Galaxy Alpha smartphone. This much awaited device is made out of metal which is a departure from tradition for Samsung, a company that usually relies upon plastic for almost all of its devices, be it high-end or entry level. Since one might expect metal to be an expensive material as opposed to plastic, those who would like to pick up a Galaxy Alpha would now be wondering just how much it costs.
Samsung's advice price for this smartphone is €599, that's high-end territory. Rest assured though as carrier subsidies are bound to drive down the upfront cost. However those who want to pay for it outright will have to shell out quite a bit of money.
